Calculator questions

A tool for comparing two tire sizes. Useful if you are changing the standard tires or rims for a different size: it shows how the wheel dimensions change.

Choose the width, aspect ratio and rim diameter of your current tire and the new one. The drawings and the table update right away, showing the difference in width, sidewall height and inner and outer wheel diameter.

Enter the speed shown on your speedometer and the calculator shows your real speed on the new tires and the difference in km/h. If the field is empty or 0, it calculates for 100 km/h.

You’ll also see how the ground clearance changes.

Don’t fit tires that your vehicle manufacturer doesn’t recommend unless you have to. The wrong size can affect the speedometer and odometer, electronic systems (ABS, EBD, Traction Control and others), performance and handling.
